The Blog

This blog is a class project of the course entitled Practice Injunctive Writs and and TRO’s. It is an elective course under the Juris Doctor program of the Ateneo Law School, which is taught by Judge Princess Bustos-Ongkeko.

This site is divided into the six different injunctive writs that have been reported on and discussed in class, namely:

1. Writ of Preliminary Injunction (Rule 58)

2. Temporary Restraining Order (also under Rule 58)

3. Writ of Habeas Corpus (Rule 102)

4. Writ of Habeas Data (A. M. No. 08-1-16-SC)

5. Writ of Amparo (A.M. No. 07-9-12-SC)

6. Writ of Kalikasan (A.M. No. 09-6-8-SC)


The Course

Practice on Injunctive Writs and TRO’s is a 1-unit elective subject, which is conducted as instruction in both theory and practice/simulation.

 

The Professor

HON. PRINCESS BUSTOS-ONGKEKO is the Executive Judge of the Regional Trial Court of Sta. Cruz, Laguna. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of the Philippines where she graduated a Cum Laude. She also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the same university, and is currently taking her Master of Laws degree in San Beda College Graduate School of Law.

Judge Princess was married on the 8th of August, 1988, with 8 ninongs and ninangs. She has been a wife, mother, and mother-figure to many ever since.
